Judith Baer, who began her teaching career in 1973, describes herself as a dedicated educator and children's advocate who wants each and every child to have the chance to excel.  She graduated from Kean University with a BA in Elementary Education and a collateral degree in the Teaching of Reading. With more than 30 years of experience and dedication in the teaching profession, having taught grades K through 8, she utilizes her expertise to help children do well in school, building both confidence and an overall feeling of success.

Judith Baer forms a partnership with the parents, creating a dynamic team that works collaboratively to provide the best results for your child.  There is tremendous trust and confidence between Mrs. Baer and the parents, who can feel comfortable knowing they have someone to talk to as well as rely on. 

Mrs. Baer can administer Informal Reading Evaluations to assess your child’s reading level.  She is able to prepare your Pre-K or Kindergarten student in Reading Readiness activities to prepare them for first grade.  Keep in mind that these classes are FUN and RELAXED.  She also teaches reading, writing, study skills and math up through grade 8.  The teaching is completely individualized for your child and plans are made up on a weekly basis.

Mrs. Baer has put together a talented team of certified teachers to help your children.  We have math teachers specializing in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Geometry (Keep in mind there are only 2 students in each class). We also have a certified Wilson Method reading instructor ready to assist children in reading and writing skills.

We also offer the immensely popular “Homework Club" where students work on homework, study skills and projects with the assistance of a teacher and high school student.  There are no more than 6 students per session.  Classes are Monday –Thursday 3:30-5:30.  Our motto is MAKE HOMEWORK BAERABLE!
